Our first came with a tear and our second had some very light tears but the water couldn't get through so we stayed just it. You have to be careful when closing the lid because it doesn't snap and if the child tries it will break. Doesn't feel like learning, but it works. We use this to hold males during full water changes. Would be great for a move but not intended for long stays as if the lid is opened and closed too many times it will break. Probably best to use without water.

This is a very small tank, slightly larger than an approved sea monkey tank. It will not be a healthy home for anything other than Artemia. The lid is difficult to remove.
