This is a very small tank, slightly larger than an approved sea monkey tank. It will not be a healthy home for anything other than Artemia. The lid is difficult to remove. If you have to go into this tank regularly, it will most likely break over time. You have to be careful when closing the lid to avoid spilling or breaking the stand it sits on. I used a Stanley knife to cut two sticks in the lid that fit into the air tube with the air stone so I could turn on my air pump for just a minute or two to add oxygen to the water. I just throw the food all over the lid through the lid as the food is a powder. I really like this little tank but I don't see it suitable for any other purpose. It is too small for any kind of fish to lead a healthy lifestyle. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a sea monkey aquarium or small artemia hatchery that is cute and fits in a small decoration or artificial plant.
