Description of Legrand Seymour Radiant 1597GRYCCD12 Self Test

Seamlessly upgrade your old kitchen or bath outlet with a new self-testing GFCI outlet that protects against injury from electric shock and disconnects from power when protection is lost. Conducts an automatic test every three seconds, ensuring it's always ready to protect. If the device fails the test, the Trip indicator light (red LED) flashes to signal that the gfci should be replaced. Make wiring easy with enhanced 15 Amp design featuring external pressure plates, enhanced back body, posted terminal screws and technology that prevents usage if wired incorrectly. Thinner design, leaving more room for wires in the electrical wall box and features captivated mounting screws for easier installation. Matches other radiant devices and screwless wall plates by Legrand - Pass & Seymour (sold separately).

Reliable and Safe Outlets!

This industrial and scientific outlet is a game-changer! It has a self-test feature that ensures reliability and safety. The sleek design blends in well with any workspace. My only con is that it's SLIGHTLY more expensive than other outlets, but the peace of mind it provides makes it worth it..

Pros
  • Reliable and safe.
Cons
  • Slightly more expensive.

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
