Pretty easy to use and well made

Worked very well. I had to improvise on one end because the place didn't have drywall to support the legs, but it worked. Pretty easy to use and well made. Supports 54" 5-blade ceiling fans with no problem.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some issues

Excellent item in outlet

Arrived quickly. Was as advertised. Fits perfectly. I wish the felt was wider as my bars were 24 OC. so it just had to be held tight while it expanded. I bought three, everything is installed. Never had a problem with anything from Amazon. Always check people's comments and watch out for scammers.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Fan or ceiling light installation work (old design)

Ideal for use on older electrical and fan installation jobs (retrofit) where you have limited access to the ceiling joists. If you have access to ceiling joists, this kit will work as well. The only thing to note is that no screws are supplied to attach the fan to the actual electric box. Proper length 10/32 screws are easy to find at any hardware store.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

This is the fan mount you need!

Other fan mounts have given me a lot of grief. This one has very high legs that don't get in the way of old metal crate hangars that aren't easy to remove. I wish I had known about this product sooner. Get this one and you won't be disappointed. They've thought of all the practical issues that need to be addressed when installing an upgraded fan. It comes with an extra strap to use with the Original Hunter if you have one. These were the first fans I installed back in the 1970's.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No

Equipment needed for installation in an old house

I've used these before and they're a great, relatively easy way to safely install a ceiling fan in an old house where you don't have much Access to the beams. My kitchen has double drywall on the ceiling so I bought the 22200 with a deeper electrical box. I had to cut about 1/2 inch off the four ends of the U-brackets to get the bottom of the box flush with the ceiling and the rest of the installation was easy. This gives me great confidence that the fan will be securely attached. Highly…

Heavy ceiling fan? to sockets

This clip had some good reviews and I needed a replacement for a very basic clip holding the light. I replaced the light with a ceiling fan. Please do your homework on how to use this product before purchasing. Putting this on your ceiling can get this "engaged". For those who already know their work, this product offers a very good solution for those who need a ceiling mount that supports a ceiling fan. The center rod of the clevis rotates and the clevis then extends. or contract to match…

Just What We Needed

Reiker Pass & Seymour 22200 Fan Mount Upgrade with 25 Cubic Inch Control Box was just what we needed. We recently moved into a brand new home and the builder told us that our master bedroom was ready for a ceiling fan should we decide to have one later. My husband decided after about 3 months that it was too hot in our bedroom at night so we bought a ceiling fan, removed the light fixture and what we had to find. Absolutely nothing. The electrical box wasn't even rated for ceiling fans. So I…
