I did not install these so I cannot vouch for their actual quality. The problem was that the box and bezel were too wide to fit in the jambs of my interior doors. I have 1-3/8" interior doors, which means the door frame it fits in is also 1-3/8". Since the box is 1-3/8" and the bezel is 1-1/2", it will either extend past the edge of the door jamb or you will have to cut out part of the doorstop. Just tried to install this product. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly out of the box. Sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't. Turning the switch has no effect. Switching the wires does not work. It's just cheap Chinese junk. My house is about 15 years old. We have several cabinets with door switches. Two of them are used daily and several times a day. One of those two original switches failed less than two years ago. The first replacement was a different brand and failed. This product
