This is a high quality outlet that works well. Holds forks securely with a twist lock. It's easy to tie with straight wire or old school and wrap it around the screw. It's quite big, but it's necessary for big teeth.

This socket was very easy to install and has actually turned my 230v socket into a much more useful and versatile socket that I use for all my woodworking tools. With a pair of plugs properly wired for 115 volts and mounted on a short cord with a regular 115 volt outlet on the other end, I can use the outlet for any of my 115 volt tools. I installed separate plugs on each of my 230 volt tools with the correct wiring so I can continue to use the outlet for those tools.

I have already bought, used and tested a Leviton 2711 plug which turned out to be much better quality than the cheap one that came with my alternator.
