Too much packaging: heating, cooling and air quality

I bought two filters for different Levoit Tower air purifiers and there were SO MANY packages! There was a huge box with paper filling and another big box inside, and in the big box were two boxes with two filters. outrageous. It took me half a day to sort and disassemble the packaging to fit in the bin.

Saved us from the smoke of the forest fire. scary red light note

Great filter, got forest smoke from our apartment. Outdoor air quality fluctuated between 500 and 600 AQI for several days, effectively frying a five-month-old filter. Note to current owners! The red indicator means you are CHECKING the filter, not replacing it. The indicator lights up if you do not open the back cover to clean the filter for more than two months. There are several filter change criteria in the manual, check them before you buy a new one.

Questionable quality control

This is my second replacement filter for my Levoit LV-H134 air purifier. They last 6 months as advertised and I feel they filter the air well. My issue is with my latest replacement filter, not the air purifier itself. I noticed that this replacement filter has significantly less activated carbon inside the filter than my previous filters. I wish I had ordered early

I put off buying a new filter because the air purifier has been running at low speed for over a year. I didn't think it filtered much. One day I took out my old one and vacuumed it to remove dust from the outside and prolong its life. When the fires ravaged California this summer, I decided to buy a new filter. I'm glad I did. Super Expensive: The pre-filter is a one-piece element in the filter - it cannot be cleaned ($80 per month)

They are very expensive, no pre-filter to vacuum, only 1 month for $80 ! They're up $20 in the last month since I bought the air filter myself. I've bought several air filters and while the small square filters work well, the large tower filters take about a month and a half to get through the filters making them very expensive. The "pre-filter" mentioned is not a real pre-filter that can be cleaned, it is inside the cylinder. You'll get dirty in the city in about a month and a half if you have
