I was a bit reluctant to buy one of these at a discounted price and it wasn't brand new, but I have to say I'm very impressed. I replaced my imac 27 inch to make it work with my macbook pro. The integration is SEAMLESS. The telescopic height adjustment is one of the best features of this monitor along with the picture. Comes with a Thunderbolt 3 cable.

I have the latest 27" iMac 5k and it's the only 27" 5k display you can add for dual/extended displays. I love having double the real estate! It's worth it for me! I work a lot for Ancestry.com and with digital photography, having this second display has made everything so much easier!

I've been using it for more than a month with a 16 inch MacBook Pro. No problem. The display is amazing and the price was fair. I will update if there are any problems.

They sent me another model, the old 27MD5KA in a box of 27MD5KL. I sent the monitor back. It cannot be updated and most of the features will not work on modern devices. I am extremely disappointed. Looks like they're trying to cheat.

I love everything about it: the fact that it powers my Macbook Pro, that it has a built-in webcam, and that it's really 5,000 by 27 inches. However, the backlight is just terrible. I thought I could live with that, but I don't know if I can. Even at lower brightness levels, the bottom right corner is blurry in dark mode. I bought "updated" from Revain. I think the last buyer returned it for the same reason. I think it will be returned before the 90 day return window expires.

The first one I bought from the Apple Store when it came out. Has always suffered. For some reason my iPad Pro 2018 was not showing up. It stopped working completely. Ordered this one and it arrived in two days. The box was broken. But everything else in the box was in factory condition! This is perfect for display and sound quality. The sound is so good I decided to put away my B&W MM-1 to save some desk space!

Use as a monitor for 2020 16" MacBook Pro. Use the cable that came with the kit. I love that you can connect with a single cable and it also powers the laptop. I really like the brightness and quality Within two weeks it started flickering and distorting parts of web pages I found the right USB-C ports on my Mac do this but not when I use the left ports So that's it solved. Mac problem or LG problem? Who knows. But it seems to be a Mac problem. Although I like the monitor.

Bought two of these for my 2015 27" iMac. Both pack full 5K power and look almost as good as an iMac 5K display. The included stand is sturdy and sleek. The power cord is very well made. Detachable plate on the back for access to the VESA mounting holes, delightfully simple and lightweight.

You can't beat this monitor for modern Macs with TB3. It's well built, has a nice display, built in AC converter (no power adapter) and Mac OS integration. My repair was in perfect condition except it came with a Thunderbolt 2 cable instead of a TB3 (repaired by seller in 4 days). It's great to save $400 on a new option like this.
