LG Electronics 4933DD3001B 6026050 Dishwasher Review

The cable is slightly longer than the OEM and the cable has a little more stretch. I tied several knots on each one until the feathers were in the right position. You shouldn't have to do this, but I didn't want to order more replacement parts and had to keep pulling, disassembling, replacing and installing again and again. just another crappy LG design. no more LG in this house. je.

While this part fits great and is easy to replace, it doesn't last long. I replaced them on both sides (because if one breaks, the second will break very soon). 3 months after the replacement they broke again. Not sure if it's LG's poor design or just cheap parts, but it won't last long anyway. Instead of cheap nylon cable that wears out instantly, it should be made of braided stainless steel cable that won't fail. I'm not sure if there are better options. Maybe they just need to be replaced.

So I tried to save about $6 the first time and got a cheaper version of this part. It took all this time getting the dishwasher out, taking the door apart to put it in and a month later the part broke again. For a little more money I was willing to try two of them to fix the door. It's been three months now and the door works great. This part is what I needed. I highly recommend buying this to fix your dishwasher door. It's heavier and thicker than the others and costs a few bucks more to avoid

Revain tracking may not be up to date as tracking shows the part has not been shipped and it unexpectedly arrived 6 days earlier than promised. No complaints about that.
