Great ultrabook with relatively rare memory upgrade

I got this device to replace my Dell The 2018 Bought XPS 13 which I unfortunately only bought with 8GB RAM. When it became clear earlier this year that this wasn't enough for me, I looked around for ultrabooks with the option of expanding storage, just to be on the safe side. Not wanting to give Lenovo money, I opted for LG Gram 14. Summary Excellent car. Responsiveness is quick under light loads on both Linux and Windows, and for an Ultrabook it handles heavy workloads quite well. It seems…

I wanted a travel laptop and this 14" LG Gram laptop is perfect for you. First, it's very easy. Possibly the lightest 14-inch laptop with a full 10-inch screen. However, the construction seems very well done and I just love the quality of the screen. very clear and very high quality screen. Plenty of RAM and half a terabyte of storage was enough for everything. it works very well as advertised and I am happy with the computer. However, I just couldn't give it 5 stars because they lied about the

Hidden laptop gem

They go with the Dell XPS 13. My wife has one of these. This LG Gram is better. You can look at benchmarks all day, but if you're like me, don't use your laptop to look up prime numbers. You use it to surf the web, work on multiple spreadsheets or text documents, maybe play solitaire. It doesn't matter that the Dell XPS performs slightly better in these use cases. You won't be able to tell the difference. The LG Gram has many advantages. Excellent screen, good keyboard, nice design. Is it a…

Great laptop, a few minor quality issues

Pros: Battery life is fantastic and so light it's a pleasure to use. The Gram is only 0.8 pounds lighter than the XPS 13 or Yoga 14", but both feel like bricks in comparison. It works great with Linux Mint, but make sure you have your Linux kernel up update the latest version 5.8.- Thanks to the 16:10 screen feels big even on the 14" model. The difference with the 13.3" XPS is noticeable despite being only a fraction of an inch larger. The FHD+ resolution is great for the 14" screen and saves…

Excellent battery performance.

After a few weeks of using the LG Gram I can confidently say this is the best laptop I have ever owned. I have owned many laptops for decades and have had desktop PCs that I built myself. I've found that most laptops I buy tend to choke on battery power as they want to extend battery life. LG Gram is not such a laptop. The Gram runs great on battery power, with multiple tabs open and videos this laptop runs smoothly for many, many hours without stuttering. I watched 70% of the show's entire…
