I have LOVED Lifeproof for years and have had cases for 5 different iPhones before and this has NEVER happened to me. The new case for 12 has a grid of dots across the entire screen. They catch the light from below and distort the image a bit. In addition, this case is much rounder on the edge than the previous ones, so the phone doesn't stand up on its own as it would without a case. If I had known that before buying, I would not have bought it

I returned it because I couldn't type in this case. I would have to take it off for everyday use and only install the case when I go out on the water, but that would affect the water resistance of the case as the rubber gasket came loose the first time I removed it and I had to reinstall it. . This iPhone case came with 2 broken air bags on the inside of the screen. Luckily they're both in the black area at the top so I can't see them in low light. However, I expected more from LifeProof.
