Not sure if the block can emit emissions but the screw that secures the crimp terminal threads is junk. Barely pressed on him and he broke. I didn't want to send it back so I wrapped a stainless steel tie around the device to hold the wire tight to the case of the device.

This product has no inlet/outlet installation mark, but it may not matter since it is a gas line. I'm not interested in spade grounding and would instead prefer a standard industrial through-hole ground for easier installation. Hopefully he never sees any spikes, but he's there if it ever happens.

This appears to be a quality device but there is no way of knowing if it will work when required. I hope I never need it. There is a problem, however: to be effective, they must be grounded to a known good earth ground with 10 gauge solid, insulated copper wire.
