I'm a beginner and love these colors

I just started painting and bought a cheap 8 color volume pack first. Comparatively these colors have higher opacity, I don't need to overlay the same color over and over again. I like that the colors are vibrant and the texture of the paint is a bit creamy without being too runny. My only regret now is that I didn't buy a larger box of 48 flowers.

Liquitex 36 Acrylics - 22ml each

Have thought about buying Liquitex. So far I am completely satisfied with the product. I am currently using these paints on canvas and these tubes seem to be very useful. The paint is thick, unlike the liquid bottle paints I've used before. The set contains 36 tubes of 22 ml. I definitely recommend using Liquitex paints to everyone, whether you are a professional or a student/beginner.

Great to start with

I bought this as a beginner to learn acrylic painting. The quality of the paint is good and the colors are enough for all kinds of projects. The tubes aren't very big, but they're adequate to get you started. I bought the large tubes from the Basics set for the colors I use frequently. It introduced me to flowers and it was just what I needed. I bought this after many recommendations for using Liquitex and that the basics set was of a much better quality than most other beginner sets. It's a…

Good Primer Paint Set

If you're looking for a way to speed up your acrylic paint work, this is it. 36 tubes give you an amazing range of shades. The tubes are small so more of a sample than anything else - use them to test out the colours, find your favorites and then shop the full size tubes of the ones you like the most! Liquitex paints have a nice oily tube structure and excellent coverage. Tip: Since the tubes are small, I'd recommend buying large tubes (or jars) in both white and black to complete this set, as…

Acrylic paint set for Paint

Very fast shipping, nothing broken or damaged. The colors switched as soon as I opened the lid of the basic supply box, but the bottom half was completely wrapped in plastic so nothing fell out. I can say they have never been used or opened, they were in their original sealed packaging. I was concerned that many tubes appear the same color at first glance from a distance, but up close you can clearly see that each color is different. There are no duplicates at all. I open each tube, everything…

Eh I think I'll use a different brand next time.

Recently got back into painting so I bought this set as it was on sale and I wanted the same color to be available for multiple sessions. Unfortunately now I know why it was on sale I think. This brand of color doesn't seem to have the pigment density I was expecting - the first colors I bought were gold brands and so far they are really good, it only takes 1-2 coats to get a deep colour. For this set, at least for the colors I've used so far, it took 3-4 coats. Also, some of them came out of…

Got two drying hoses! Otherwise nothing special, but mostly ok.

I have used Liquitex products in the past with good results so I bought them with confidence that they would be just as good. Unfortunately, either the quality of Liquitex has dropped by a notch or two, or I've encountered an inferior batch. Two of the tubes that came with it (burnt sienna and raw umber) were almost completely dry (just a thick, totally unusable clumpy paste), and a couple of the others (orange and cadmium yellow) were clearly going in the same direction - not clumpy, but…

Acrylic paint starter kit

Bought this kit for my adult daughter. This is a full set of accurate paints for most acrylic paintings and can be applied to almost any surface including permanent adhesion to fabric. This is their "basic" set, so there are many shades (the shade will be in the name of the color on the tube) and no colors with a pigment. Great set for a beginner artist. In addition to the brushes, they need a small bottle of matte and gloss mediums. Do not dilute with water as this will weaken the colour. Use…
