It can also be used to remove fuel tank saddle clamps. headache rack U-bolts, and S-Cam brackets caging bolts. The socket can be used with 1/2" drive and an impact wrench. The socket is forged from alloy steel and heat treated. Also works on other 15/16" deep applications.

Good stuff in tool kits

Good product for the price. The tool cart costs $60. I use this bushing to adjust lift chains on forklifts. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Not sure

Great tool for the job

Great price. Works as it should. Every heavy-duty mechanic should own it to perform any brake-related work. Fast shipping with Prime

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

If you need one of these, you know it's worth it!

If you're a truck driver and don't have one, you might be calling the highway! If you are a mechanic, you already know its value!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No Form Required

This is a well built outlet.

I bought this because I needed a very deep 15/16 to adjust the loader chains. It doesn't require many hammer blows and does the job well. I will order more as I have different sizing needs. would recommend.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good value for money

I work as a car mechanic and do heavy road maintenance. Very large space for towing and evacuation. I've always used Mac or Snapon cell nests, but after driving under trucks on the freeway, exiting heavy drivers and not coming back or they magically went away, I decided to give it a try and have used it a few times already without problems. Good price and quality so far.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No insurance

Works as intended for tools and equipment

Better use a wrench to tighten the brake cylinders. However, as other reviewers have also pointed out, the socket design is slightly different from the picture in the description, so something has changed. I have rarely braked in a cage and have a feeling this outlet will last with my limited use. Works as intended with a ratchet but I would be suspicious of constant impact use. Jammed the brakes on my truck when it wouldn't start and still looks new. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this to keep inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easily repairable

It's the industry standard

It does the job. When used with a 1/2" ratchet, this is much quicker than trying to use an open end wrench or even a 3/4" ratchet combination wrench to tighten/loosen the truck's brake springs. Even faster with an impact wrench. For exceptionally long captive screws, a 7/8 inch wrench can be used to tighten this bushing and pass the screw shank through the top of the tool. an outer surface (perhaps square rather than round) to prevent rolling on rough pavement This would be particularly helpful

Pros
  • Always liked it
Cons
  • Not for everyone
