🌈 Children's Little Live Pets Rainbow Cage Review

Bought this for my granddaughter's 4th birthday and it was a hit!. There are several varieties of this bird. I chose these because her wings light up and flap - my granddaughters love to put her to bed at night as she is afraid of the dark. It repeats what you say, and with another switch the bird will chirp, say something, and sing! The more you pet him, the more he chirps. It's adorable and after 2 months she's still playing with it. She loves it!

I got this as a gift for my 6 year old niece. My daughter has an old version that her niece loved but this one is so much better! Now my daughter wants one! The color-changing wings are very fun, and the way the bird's beak moves makes it look like it's actually talking. Children love to pick up their voice and listen to the bird play it in a higher pitch. It's hard to find a decent gift for less than $20 these days, and it sure is a good gift!

The bird was delivered with empty batteries. It's okay, we changed them. In the morning they were gone. Switched to a different set. The bird didn't turn on, but still let the child play with it, while the child dropped the toy and suddenly started working with lights and sounds. The bird cage breaks easily and the bird feeder does not stick. On the other hand, remember that this bird will ask your children to tell her a secret, and then immediately pick up her voice and repeat it.

My 7 year old got this from grandma for Christmas, but my 3 (girls), 5 (boys) and 7 (girls) played with it and loved it. It makes cute noises and talks to you and responds in a bird's voice to whatever you record. Definitely a good purchase to keep playing with 2 months later (and if you have kids you know not all Christmas toys last that long!) :) We'll probably get another pet like this in the future, or another one , since then another bird can fit in the same cage, it has two places!
