I had had enough of those flimsy plastic Christmas lights and decided to give it a try. They're made of good, thick wire so they won't bend when you stick them down the gutter, and they'll easily hold a few threads of light.

After 20 years in our old house I was climbing the stairs in our new house to install Christmas lights when I realized we had installed gutter guards and my standard clips did not work. These clicks worked great and were made of decent weight metal. I liked the easy safety clip because the wind was blowing and our lights were still there. Would buy again.

Strong hooks. I had to pry them open a bit with pliers to get them popping out the outside edge of my wire shelves, but they are easy to adjust with pliers if needed. We use them to hang all of our kitchen utensils and pots, from a whisk to a 12" non-stick frying pan.
