Place lid and latch. I went to refuel, the cap opened, but it was not possible to remove it. I had to remove it with pliers and a screwdriver.

DO NOT MOUNT THIS ON A TRUCK!

Purchased March 2022 - unlocked at around 6am. Took the truck on vacation in May 2022 and at my first gas station 300 miles from home it wouldn't unlock. I haven't tried anything. click click damn click AAA couldn't help luckily there was a locksmith 5 miles away and he was able to remove this POS. He confirmed that the pawl, the key turns in the lock, was very cheap, loose and out of order. There was a NAPA store a block away that had a replacement gas cap (no lock) for $10. I tip two NAPA…
