Soft Semi-Pastel

I have worked with pastels for a long time and as I am painting with pastels again I thought the halves would be a good start. They arrived in great condition and I was able to incorporate them into my portable art easel while painting outside or on the go. I would recommend this product to anyone who uses pastel colors.

NOT half size, more like 1/3 size

As a buyer of soft pastels, I have some experience with these products. I bought these to use as a student for some of the courses I take and didn't want to use my more expensive Rembrandt and Sennlier pastels in class. All the pastels I bought online have arrived in perfect condition except for this purchase. The packaging was inadequate and the pastels fell off the tray. They arrived at my house today in a complete mess and a few parts are broken. Also, these are not half-size pastels at all.

Cons

The seller did great - just a crappy product! NOT "soft "

The seller did a good job, no complaints! The product is just terrible. I even read reviews on other sites and like this one the most. I bought them because I was looking for "soft pastels". This is what they stated. They're so hard it's ridiculous! Most of all I need them to scrape the pigment off the sides of the pieces. Jeeper they are so hard I can't scrape them off and yes I've tried different tools and blades. It just scrapes off in pieces with a small amount of powder. I would definitely
