I LOVE all the different lighting effects on these lights.however, I had to return 3 out of 6 purchased after only three months of outdoor use because they stopped working.That is a 50% failure rate and by my standards.Unacceptable! Since no other company offers this type of lighting system I reordered the three when Revain provided a return label and refund on the three defective ones.I am hoping none of the replacements fail.Just saying.

Unit is a bit larger that I expected, however they do post the sizes for the various ones they offer based on wattage. Guess I just did not see that until I rechecked the listing. Not sure what the warranty covers - but most likely expired just before the item died. Read a bunch of positive reviews of these and they really are great. I ordered two for my back deck to light up the yard for my dogs and they don't disappoint. They each came with a remote. Ok, so I didn't use this for its intended purpose (landscape lighting). I used it to replace my 500W shop light that shines on a large spider web I put up every Halloween. So far I have been very pleased with this item. I had bought another light from this company; this one is slightly cheaper and almost as good. The body is not quite as sleek, which doesn't affect the function. The only complaint I have is that the handle requires tools to unscrew and adjust, whereas the next up light has handles you can adjust by hand. This light is not 50watts more like 18watts as measured properly. It is bright and the few times I have used it it has functioned as it should. I'm giving it a 3 star because their customer support was really great when one of them went about 5 months in. However, after about a year or so, most of them have failed in some way. The light worked as advertised after I was able to fix it. When I first plugged it in there was a blinding flash then nothing. I took apart the wiring housing and found that the hot wire had been crushed between the housing and the cover causing a dead short. I rewired and it worked fine. That does tell me that they don't test this product prior to shipping.

Really like these lights. Using them for an outdoor Halloween display, but as I play around with them, I'm thinking of other year-round uses. They look & feel pretty solid. And I love the remote. I have two on my front porch. I illuminate the porch in seasonal colors. It looks great. One of my lights quit working, so I contacted the vendor. They asked that I send a video of the malfunctioning unit, which I did. They immediately sent a replacement. What great customer service!

I bought the "damaged original package version" for a reduced price. It worked but I had to open it up and fix the broken transformer mount on the inside. The remote was cracked on the side as well. The only other issue is that the smooth or fade transition modes is faster than the strobe. In the end it does what I need it to do. It made it through the summer and we'll see if it survives the winter.
