Fantastic product for Lite remote switch

LoraTap Mini Remote Socket Adapter works AMAZING well. Very easy to install and requires no configuration. Worked immediately. The remote really works anywhere in my house. We installed it about 5 feet from the plug but tested it around the house and outside. I wish they had a faceplate that lays flat against the wall and looks like it belongs to a traditional light switch. It comes with foam adhesive, but we've added a command bar for easy removal, so in the photo it's peeling off the wall…

Not exactly "mini ": sockets

I used these to power some new LED bulbs and attached them to the garage ceiling. I used a double socket in the garage ceiling. One of the outlets was occupied by a garage door motor plug. Standard three pin connector. Inserting this "mini adapter" into the remaining socket was extremely difficult, resulting in things not being as reliable as we would have liked. The magnets that hold the remote control to the wall aren't very strong. I see him being knocked down to smash on the concrete floor…

Love it! Perfect fit for my hard to reach lamp.

Perfect solution for my lamps Love it! I got this for my baby lamp because the lamp was behind the rocking chair and I was tired of half-crawling in the chair to turn the lamp on and off. It wasn't just something you had to go through as it turns on more lightbulbs to turn it off. It's very annoying when it's 4am and you're tired as a dog and the light is constantly hitting your face. This thing is perfect though, just plug it in and plug in a cable, turn it on and it's ready to go. I keep the…

Flawless and fabulous!

No more climbing out of the warm cocoon of the bed to turn off the light! I originally bought a Bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp, but it stopped working after a few weeks. Not to mention that I got tired of opening the app on my phone, letting it boot up and then turning off the lamp. I'm excited about this remote version! The outlet is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was afraid the signal wouldn't get through, but it toggles on and off with the first click every time. I can…

Great device - a bit bulky

Like many others, I needed this to control a lamp at the back of a large room. When I first tried to plug the receiver into the wall, it was too large in diameter to be used with another device's power adapter in the same outlet. I don't really care, but it might be frustrating for someone who doesn't expect to have to re-route/move adapters for a few things to make this receiver fit. There is a pairing process that involves pressing a button on the side of the receiver for a few seconds until…

Luckily it remembers if it was on or off when the power is cut off.

I tried several different smart home remote control sockets before buying them, but I returned them because they were a pain in the ass. This product is very simple and you do not need a smartphone, Google Home, Alexa or a computer. You get a convenient round switch with a magnetic mount that attaches to a mounting ring. You can use it for things other than lighting. I connected one to a bathroom fan. The fan is in the fan/light box on the ceiling of my bathroom. Unfortunately, being a combo…

Amazing light remote switch

I have a closet with an old fashioned ceiling light on a chain that I don't like at all. It would be a lot of work and expense if an electrician hooked it up to a wall switch. I bought not one but two expensive GE brand remote switches. The first failed after about a year, and the second eventually failed as well. (After changing the battery both thought that was the problem) They were junk. I bought this one and it worked beautifully and was a much better design. The screw cartridge is shorter

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A little wrinkled

Five stars overall. This replaced a defective DEWENWILS RF socket I had purchased and returned which had an activity light that you couldn't see under the power supply when plugged in, used a proprietary A23 battery in an unreliable remote control and always started in "off" state. . So, if there was a fluctuation or power failure due to a thunderstorm, a switch tripped, etc.; The DEWENWILS outlet would not turn on on reboot and the Comcast phone/Internet gateway I had plugged into it stayed…
