Good product, easy to use and works well. Ultimately, we found it cheaper and easier to get self-adhesive materials from local stores, but it's a good alternative if you can't buy them there or want to avoid the hassle.

Exactly what is stated. A slit is partially cut in each tube. It is very easy to break the slit to wrap the foam hose around the pipe. Or ignore the gap and stick the pipe through. The foam is easy to handle and springs well.

Due to a 2021 Southeast Texas freeze, I added insulation to a ruptured hot water line before the ceiling was repaired. Shame on me for not making sure the line was adequately insulated. Next time the temperature should be below zero.
