Installed but never used. But they are exactly the same as the ones I took off, if that helps. I didn't see any problems, except that they could be better packaged.

Wasted half a day dismantling my old brakes which are rusted, the restoration still didn't work, 10 minutes I unscrewed and installed this skid plate , works great for wasting time. Ordered another set, learned my lesson, great brakes, thanks

Received the package and when I opened it the parts were at the bottom of the box. I installed the brakes, connected the cables, reinstalled the missing parts and checked the brakes. The left brake worked fine, but the right brake stopped working. I checked the wiring and nothing. I am returning them for a refund and this time I will buy a brand name one.

Purchasing these complete units makes replacing trailer brakes that much easier. Simply remove 4 screws, mount, connect a cable and you're done. You don't have to look for spring hardware and worry about whether the magnet will work. They are of very good quality and satisfied with their purchase. I bought two sets for a total of four to use on our old camper project.
