The privacy protection is much, much worse than that offered by the 3M filters. I would not feel confident using my laptop next to anyone using this filter, and upon applying this to my laptop and looking at it from different angles, I immediately went and bought a 3M filter. I ordered this because I wanted a thicker protector for my MacBook and this one is supposed to be compatible with my model. We purchased these to protect our employees' data on their computer screen while traveling. You can easily read the screen when sitting to the side of the computer. Even at a step angle you can still pretty much read the screen. I would not recommend these as privacy screens.

The screen works super well especially when I'm working inside a cafe and want some privacy. However, It does cause a bit of blurriness and dulls down the brightness. So, at the cost of having privacy for your screen you might have to turn up the brightness which will eventually drain the battery a bit faster if you're not near an outlet.Overall, not bad for a privacy screen, but pretty pricy for something that causes your screen to blur for the person actually using it.

Installed on my Apple MacBook Pro 16 2019, fit nicely and there is enough for the camera privacy slider.Once installed no more glare and good privacy. work nicely with the lid closed too

This one is my 4th, maybe 5th, privacy screen, and it does the job better than the others so far (day 1). It was easy to put on the laptop. The magnet works well as it sticks to the entire computer screen. The privacy shade (that you can move back and forth to close off the laptop camera) is easy to open and close. Best of all, there isn't a ton of glare like there had been with the other privacy screens.

Great product. Never again do I have to deal with bubbles. It took longer to clean my screen than put the screen protection on my MacBook Pro. Will recommend

Keeps my screen clean and takes a few days to get used to having a screen protector. Doesn't do much for anti glare when i'm on the go.

not a privacy screen protector. makes it darker at angles but in order for it to be remotely effective you have to turn your brightness down almost all the way. certainly not worth $40.

Son wanted for his computer as he is a software engineer for AWS. This provided the privacy he needs when working in a semi-public area, like an airport or lobby at work. A big Christmas hit for sure.

It took me 5 mins to install it. I didn't align the line correctly first time, my fault, took it off, realign it, put it back. . what you see is what you get exactly. Strongly recommend !

I'm on the computer and devices a lot and this screen saver in particular is very noticeably different than others I've owned. Easy on the eyes, esp as you age. I love it.

I can believe its quality is so bad, just after two months, I cannot see the screen clearly, so I threw it away The privacy screen may reduce the viewing angle, making it difficult to work with others.

Just like others have said- the privacy protection on this is insufficient compared to other privacy screens. I bought it mainly for use on flights, yet the person in the seat next to me can easily see the closest third of the screen. And yes, like others have also said, doesn't adhere along the bottom of the screen.
