Some other adapters do not have an adjustment.

Fits my Festool guide and Makita 1.25hp compact router with plunge base. I've tried using a DeWalt guide with a Festool guide before and it didn't seem as stable as the Makita guide rail adapter. I also have a Festool 492601 guide stop that I've been wanting to adapt to my collection of non-Festool router bits but haven't done so yet. If I ever buy a Festool 1400, I'm sure I'll appreciate the Festool rail stop micro-adjustment, which the Makita adapter doesn't have.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Empty

. it costs a little more than I want to pay but it's a Makita so you.

I'll admit it costs a little more than I want to pay but it's Makita so you pay for those Brand. I'm glad I took the plunge because it's an amazing thing. You can effortlessly make precise and straight cuts. I actually have a set of Dewalt DWP611PK routers and use them with a dive center and they work like a champ. It's great to have another use for the overpriced Makita Track Saw Track. It's a combination of metal and plastic, but feels like it's strong enough to last forever with proper care.

Pros
  • speakerphone
Cons
  • not everything fits

Fits both the Festool guide and the Dewalt DW 611 pk compact router with plunge base. You're stuck, just right. The price is correct! I tried them with some other routers in big stores and they didn't match the metal poles. The only others that matched the metal bars were Ryobi (both models on display, submersible model #RE180PL1G and non-submersible model #R163GK). I'm not sure if the spacing is correct, but it looks like it. You should check it out if you want to buy them. I already had a DW…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Useless functions
