Read before adding to cart

It works, but there's a cheaper alternative. Look for Kaizen Foam Liners and they have a variety of inserts you can get for a lot less that fit perfectly. I got 3 thicker sizes of Makita interlocking cases, a hard shell insert, a special tool tracking marker and a knife for twice the price of one of these and they arrived relatively quickly. Basically you get three for the price of one.

If you are using it for medium or larger drawers, you will need more than 1. IE: Makita medium drawer 197211-7 requires 2 foam inserts per drawer. You get a 1/2" base pillow and core foam insert. Make sure you plan and measure your sections before you start separating sections. I wish they were only $5-10 apiece, but they will bought decently for…

I bought a Makita hard case and found there was absolutely nothing in it, so I ordered the recommended foam product to fit the Makita planer in the large plastic tool box. This foam insert is too soft and spongy and also very short. I don't think it will hold up over time and I don't think it will hold up a fairly heavy instrument very well. I ended up using a piece of the original cardboard that was cut out to…
