Wonderful! Superb quality, made in the USA

Why didn't I have this in my toolbox 10 years ago? Super good quality and perfect size for 1/4 sockets and screwdrivers. Saves me a lot of space in my toolbox and the easy ratchet makes it easy to work with small bolts or screws. This saves space, as there is no need to carry a drill or impact tool.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Frequency

Real quality tool

I was immediately struck by the density and smoothness of this tool! I like the non-rubberized grip - smooth, slides in your hand when needed, and grips your hand when needed. It said it had the strength of a 1/2 hard drive grip - and while it hasn't been tested, I'd believe it. I would compare the quality of this tool to Wera or Wiha which are some of the best small tools. Worth every penny.

Cons

Swallows the beat on the hardware

The beat sits so deep in the instrument it becomes meaningless. I have to use pliers to get the bat out. The bits he tried were standard bits. Nothing unusual. I have dozens of these and they are standard. I can't imagine how anyone would think this is a good tool. I'm not the only one who had to use pliers to remove the racquet. How acceptable. I wonder if the people doing the review actually use this tool or bought it. Suspicious.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Protection

Sturdy construction, very strong and comfortable

Very strong construction, pleasant to the touch. Turn the ring left or right to change the direction of the ratchet. or center to lock like a regular non-ratchet drive. My only complaint is that my gloved hand sometimes slips and rubs the ring to change function. But once you get used to it, it always works well. I read that the socket was deeper than others so I used ratchet bits with a longer shank. I am very happy with it.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never seen

I love this thing so far. I work on .

Love this item so far. I work on restaurant equipment that requires a variety of drivers. This pen saves a lot of weight in my bag. Power bits (with ball lock) are tight and wobble-free. The mechanical locking ensures that the bits do not fall out or get caught in the lock. Bits with wire fuse (1 inch) are not that many. I prefer bits that are 2 inches or longer for getting into hard-to-reach places. If you're using 1-inch screwdrivers, look elsewhere for the handle.

Pros
  • Still Satisfied
Cons
  • Volume

Good feel and solid ratchet

Exactly what I expected from a $15 ratchet tool. The locking socket (?) is good. The only way to improve this tool is to "auto-enable" the socket lock so that it locks when the bit is inserted, like my Milwaukee M12 tools. This locking ring must be pulled back to allow you to use the bit with both hands. My only other suggestion is that it's clear that tools can easily get lost. If I had a choice, I would buy orange or yellow. Very reliable device, I would buy again.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Game Changes! Malco quality shines.

I love the size and simplicity of this driver. It uses the same bits as my drill/screwdriver, but the short bits are difficult to remove due to the strong magnet. The only drawback is the rotary switch. When turning right, it drives to the left, when turning left, it drives to the right. I took a point off for that, but I'm sure both the right and left brains will figure it out. That being said, this type gets used a lot and saves me a lot of space in my tool bag. Definitely highly recommended!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Ideal for everyday home use, not for heavy use.

So I built a metal shed and needed a ratchet for all the little nuts and bolts. I have already bought the short version and regular version of this screwdriver and they are my absolute favorites as I can just use the bits I already have and I don't need to have 10-20 screwdrivers. QUALITY CONSTRUCTION - The ratchet switch is made of plastic and feels cheap. In my opinion it is not strong enough for heavy use. I was building a base for my 10x8 barn and thought this ratchet would be perfect, but…

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • Very expensive
