Very poor filtering

I held this filter up to the light and saw small but noticeable holes in the ridges that let large particles through easily. Quality filters are not the same. An advantage of such a large filter is that you can have very fine filtration that would normally restrict airflow, but the large surface area ensures adequate airflow. I put back my old dirty filter which filters much better than this one (dirty air filters don't filter worse, they just have worse airflow).

What hasn't been said yet?

Unbeatable price and the filter fits my 2006 330xi perfectly. I change it about once a year before the service light goes out, but this year I had to replace it twice because there was so much road salt in the air that the service light came on much earlier than usual. The best advice I can give is to be extremely careful to put the case back in place or water will run into the cabin, through the fan motor and into the passenger side carpet. I know from experience.

Perfect replacement for OEM

Great OEM replacement for BMW 3 Series (2006-2011) filters. Don't be fooled by a BMW dealership who will charge you $80 for the part and labor, order it and do it yourself. There are tons of videos on Youtube explaining how to do this if you don't is mechanical. Took 8-10 minutes to install and it fitted my 2008 335xi perfectly. The slightly "musty" smell that appeared at higher air conditioning settings has been completely eliminated. I recommend cleaning the filter housing with an all-purpose

Quality filter suitable for my BMW 2011 335i xDrive N55 sedan!

Quality replacement filter. The BMW dealer charges 5 times as much for the installation of these simple filters. This kit even comes with installation instructions so even a novice can install it in less than 15 minutes. By the way, the BMW dealer charges 1 hour of work. The great thing about these filters is that you can feel the benefit right after installation. No more allergic symptoms like stuffy nose and itchy eyes. At first I thought it was all just in my head, but my wife agreed that…

Good Replacement Filter

This is an OEM replacement filter. I was hoping that this filter would get rid of the air conditioner's weird mildew smell, but this filter is not the main cause of the smell. Due to condensation in the AC condenser module, mold may grow inside the AC condenser module when the vehicle is stopped for a long time. The best solution is to use the air conditioner wisely and turn it off 5 minutes before arriving at your destination while the fan is running on high speed. This allows fresh air to be…

Perfect fit for my 2007 BMW 335i

I just bought a 2007 BMW 335i sedan and have started rebuilding it changing filters and fluids. The car smelled like basement and I thought I had changed the cabin filter. I found a homemade video on how to change the cabin air filter and it looked very easy so I gave it a try. All you have to do is unscrew the screws that hold the filter housing in place and pull out the old one. The old one was dark gray and covered in dirt. So I cleaned the filter housing and sprayed Lysol sanitizing spray…

Replacement micro filter for 2006 BMW E90

I ordered this Mann filter for a 2006 BMW E90 and it fits perfectly. Replacing the micro filter on this car and resetting the service light took no more than 10 minutes. For assembly, all you need is an 8mm socket and a screwdriver to remove the micro filter housing. Once the microfilter housing is removed, unhook the microfilter from the tabs holding it in place. Then reverse the process (you may need to use some force to push the microfilter back into the housing). To reset the service light,

Very easy installation saves money and helps prevent allergies. Steps to reset the service indicator I used on a 2006 BMW 330i. Step 1 Insert the key into the slot. After 3 seconds a warning triangle will appear, hold odo. The button is pressed and after another 2-3 seconds the lubricator appears. If you hold it too long (only 10 seconds) you fly over the runway and a German text appears that indicates the software status/CAN bus etc of the vehicle. Return to the beginning and start again. Step
