Great size, great price, great problem

First plus: great price, great size, great parts. Cons: Mine does NOT stop blowing even after almost 2 months of use. Somehow the air builds up in the block and ends up blowing air into the tank VERY loudly! I have NO air stones and absolutely NO air bubbles in the water. So I have no idea how air collects in the canister. He is very quiet. until the air is out. then it scares you!

Newer 360 models leak with head removed/top seal failure at 18 months

I have two older models that I give 5 stars. New models 1 because I bought both here a year ago and leak out of the block when shut off to clean the canister. Dirty and the manufacturer should replace them free of charge. 9-23-19 update, bummer. After a year or so the top seal will fail and the valve blocks on both new ones will not close fully and will leak your tank. Two of my old 360's have been running great on my Oscar 135 for 3 years now. Update: 11/25/19, 2nd "newer" model C360 crashed…

Cheaply made but it flows!

I need to keep the filter in a bucket so the salt water doesn't seep onto the floor. This is ridiculous, the first problem I had was the primer not working properly (almost like the one-way valve was broken internally). . After this problem, the inlet hose simply detached from the fitting. Fitted correctly, just a horrible design, the plastic swivel nut doesn't push the hose to the fitting; Instead, it just slides down the hose. After all, the seal that is supposed to keep this damn thing from…

Good canister and I have some important "advice " for you.

So far so good I have two of these in my 65g tank. Setup and maintenance are fairly easy, and maintenance only gets easier once you get used to the device. My water is well filtered and this canister is very quiet, you hardly hear anything. One important tip, make sure you check the connections at the top of the canister carefully, if you move the hoses they can come loose and make sure they don't twist in different directions or the connection at the top of the canister would become loose not…

Excellent customer service!

I've had this pump for 37 days now and as we all know I have this sore point, it breaks right after I can return it. I noticed my pump wasn't draining water so I took it apart and cleaned everything. He turned back on so I figured he didn't like being dirty and I would have to keep an eye on him. An hour later nothing is flowing again. Then why is she giving 5 stars? I'll tell you why I took out the box and called the number. I spoke to an incredibly nice person who ordered a replacement for me

But I wasn't sure at first.

I was very happy to get my first canister and finally shut down some noisy HOB blocks. While I was a little nervous about flooding living quarters, I was also cautious. See if you neglect the filter to the point where the pressure of the siphon can overcome the seals on the block instead of fighting gravity back to the tank. This can happen when the power is off. A dirty filter increases the water pressure that the old seal can overcome. Therefore, service the filter regularly and check/replace

Great filter if you have the right parts.

So I'm changing from a Fluval brand filter to Marineland. I have had Marineland filters for 15 years and they have always served me very well. I did a little research before taking it and for the price it was a no-brainer. Received it home, unpacked it had an o-ring with additional instructions which were good. Everything installed and ran fine EXCEPT I had air in the intake manifold. No problem, it's possible that the plastic tie wasn't tightened properly. Make sure the hose is installed…

C-360, Works well on my 55 gallon

Installation took about 90 minutes. The hardest part was filling the pump (correctly). I probably spent 20 minutes on this and purged the air from the system. A slight sloshing and tilting of the device will usually help remove trapped air. Before final assembly, make sure to fill the device almost completely with water. Let the filter media soak for a few minutes (longer = better) to allow trapped air to escape before closing it. This device offers sufficient space for filter materials…

Great can so far.

I really wanted to like this filter because I know Marineland supports their product, but I've had too many problems with mine. I set it up correctly; No slack in hoses, hose straight to inlet, no air pockets near inlet filter, inlet hose clamp fits against rib on inlet assembly and is fully tightened. And I still had bubbles coming through the filter. I tilted the filter and gave it a little shake to shake out any bubbles and they continued to build up in large numbers after about an hour and…
