Waste of money best in my review

I purchased these brushes for a beginner calligraphy class and I got frustrated right away.The ends split, the bristles don't move with the stroke-I had to get new ones after two classes.Too bad-all the other reviews were so promising.

  • Enthralled with Sumi style. These brushes work for me. I'm just a beginner.

  • The brushes may not be suitable for use with watercolor paint

GOOD QUALITY BUT ALL THREE ARE TOO SIMILAR IN FUNCTION

THE BRUSHES ARE GOOD, AS EXPECTED, NICE QUALITY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WOULD BE THAT THEY ARE TOO SIMILAR IN SIZE. THEY'RE ALL GOOD AT ABOUT THE SAME JOB, BUT IF I'M LOOKING TO DRAW SOMETHING SLIM LIKE A BRANCH, NONE OF THEM ARE GOOD. IN RETROSPECT, I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF GETTING ONE VERY SLIM BRUSH AND ONE MEDIUM, FOR ABOUT THE SAME COST AS ALL THREE.

Nice brushes! - my new review

Nice feel to the brush "drag" and these are great sizes. They hold a nice amount of water and ink, so can paint more than one stroke. Like these!
