Works fast, very easy to use and safe

I have fairly thick hair and have used a variety of straighteners. The MaxiGlide RP worked great right out of the box, warmed up very quickly and was very easy to use; closes well and does not need to be pressed tightly. I don't curl my hair so I haven't used the curl features, but I love how close they are to the scalp without fear of burning my head. Built-in comb pins meant I didn't have to use a comb at all. Also, the steam feature is super cool which I haven't had on any other…

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other curling irons

My bobby pins don't pull back but love the product

I really like this product it works very well on my 3C, 4a hair. I will never go back to a normal iron again. However, for some reason the pins won't retract and I don't know if anyone else has this problem.

BEST RECTIFIER

This is my fourth Maxiglide in about 12 years(?). I'm guessing how long it's been since I first bought it in an ad. that you had removable plates. The next two didn't have removable panels, but I liked them too. This new one is the best and I'll tell you why: RETRACTABLE PINS. The main reason I had to replace them was that they were difficult to clean because the pins got in the way. So I didn't clean them, and over the years they've accumulated a disgusting look and smell. I don't expect this…

Cons

I return it - Rectifier

I tried it after a lot of research and reviews. It shouldn't be like that. The steam is not as strong as my other irons. The pins catch and pull even though they are untangled, which is why I adjusted them all the way. The heat was intense but never intense enough to make the demonstration look straight ahead. I tried it on myself and two of my girls. Each of us has different hair types. My daughter with curly hair (European mix) didn't straighten either. Nobody lasted more than an hour.

Cons
  • Clarity

Great product! in Irons

I never thought I would spend more than $25-30 on a hair product. I've seen downloads from African American women trying to do this. I'm mixed race and my hair is thick and straight. Since it seems to be working for these women, I decided to give up and spend the money. I have to tell you I don't regret spending it at all. It's easy to use and my hair is so soft. i love steam It doesn't damage my hair at all. As they say, moisturizes. I love this product. I highly recommend this product.

CrappyGlide. 😑 Suitable for styling tools and accessories

I bought this product because I thought it would strengthen my hair without too much heat. But all he did was wet my hair and use the steam function to curl it. Maxiglide? For me more Crappyglide! Refund.#CrappyGlide

For $100 I wasn't impressed!

Heat settings are good but the teeth are very sticky to my hair. I have weakened hair and am still experiencing strong holds! Absolutely no smooth passage through the hair! I followed the video instructions and didn't get $100 results! Very disappointing!

Cons
  • Requires Socket

What a bummer.: Hair care

Was so excited about this purchase. And ended up sending it back. It is clear that it has been used, hair got stuck in the plates of the iron and water remained in the tank.

Cons
  • Not the best

Be careful, combing can cause hair loss.

I saw the start-up video, understood and followed the instructions. Honestly, it's just too much work. I was looking for a flat iron to straighten my hair in one or two strokes, but this didn't happen. After using steam and then stroking it again to straighten my hair, it was still swollen at the top of my head. i hated it I don't like the comb, some hair even came out. I was even more angry when I finished, there were small strands of hair around me. nope I had to go back.

Cons
  • Some small things
