These are excellent connectors. I used them to connect three 4-wire off-road LED lights that I installed on my front bumper. The install looks a lot cleaner than if I just used butt connectors.

I needed a 3 wire connector as well as a 4 wire connector for some of my solar yard lights where I replace broken parts. The four wires I bought worked for both applications, only the fourth wire was not used on three wire devices. The waterproof connections were a clear plus, so that silicone could be dispensed with as a precaution. Lots of wire to make a minimal solder joint.

Ok I ordered these and they work great. Wire gauge is as expected, they are firmly connected. BUT the colors of the wires are reversed, the connector end turns red, black, blue, brown. Reverse socket brown, blue, black, red. And there's no way to flip the fork so they line up! So I have no idea why they were made that way but I feel the product is faulty because it's really impractical why try to connect something properly.

Had high hopes for this product based on previous reviews. Disappointed to see that all the plugs I received were assembled in exactly the reverse order so the colored wires don't match the socket. Check the picture to make sure. I don't want to cut, strip, tin, solder, shrink all the pin wires. UPDATE: I returned the original order with no issues despite having to drive 8 miles where they process Revain returns. I have a 34 year old pickup that has been badly abused; These connectors helped a lot in repairing electrical wiring where so many "field repairs" were done! The factory plugs were cut out and the wires twisted, taped or spliced and corroded. They worked great for the fuel pump and fuel gauge circuits, as well as the tail light and radio speaker circuits.
