Memorex 80-Minute CD-RW 4x-12x Speed - High Speed 25-Pack Spindle Review

Still working on the first RW CD. But I had the memorex forms and the file was fine. The test is how many records I can put on 1 CD-RW before it starts to fail.

I bought these to use with the MP3 Boombox and they did their job very well. I can record over 7 hours of music at 192kbps per disc, making it easy for me to keep my music selections up to date. You probably don't need too many discs, but because my car's 6-disc changer plays MP3s, I can store large collections of music in the car and not have to listen to repeats or fiddle with changing discs on long drives.

I like the packaging of the spindles. This makes working with CDs easier and cleaner. The 25 disc pack is perfect for backing up all my files and folders. It's also a good idea to have an external hard drive. But I'll take that down to the basement when tornadoes are spotted there. After I've finished my transport boxes, it's time for the CDs. Capacity didn't even come close to what was advertised. I don't have the floppy disks with me at the moment, but they are said to have 7xx MB of storage space. Disc. I bought this set of 25 files to back up my iTunes library. Pros: - Recorded about 40 songs per minute. Wow, that's fast (in less than 2 hours we recorded all 8.65 days of our music) - read/write ability (at up to 12x speed) - 13 discs contained 2165 songs and since it's a 25 pack was we had everything 12 are more on the left - No recording issues, no chips, scratches, cracks or other disc defects - Comes with mount and lid that rotates and 'locks' - Case can , I estimate will hold 8 more discs

I ordered some spindles earlier and was very satisfied. I was typically able to complete at least five or six write/erase cycles before any scratches or read/write errors occurred. This set was completely different. It may take a cycle or two for the errors to appear. I see scratches like crazy and don't treat them any differently than previous orders. I've really liked this brand so far but will be staying away for a few months because at this price point it would be a lot cheaper to just buy…
