Good storage quality.

Works great, went to the internet to find out how, don't forget to hold the power button for a full 5 seconds after turning off the power, battery and cable to fully use all the remaining charge to discharge battery. System so as not to damage sensitive circuitry, and be careful by pressing the two on each memory module, the metal latches on each side, and then pulling out the old memory to install the new memory at the same angles, flat on the bottom and angled at the top, and if you haven't…

  • Great choice

NOT FOR DELL LATITIUDE E6400 - May work with other models E64##

DOES NOT WORK on Dell E6400 - Crash with address bar exception during POST. If you put 2GB and those 4GB into DIMM B, Windows 10 will BSOD. This can work with all other E64## series BUT. Everyone else, including these two really big memory manufacturers, is charging twice as much for the E6400 4GB DIMM, and now I know why. There must be something special about the E6400's memory requirements that falls outside the norm for laptop memory.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Basically OK, but...

Works great on my Dell Latitude E6400

Installation was easy, less than a minute. It loaded slowly and went into setup. Make sure it shows 8GB instead of the 3GB I had before. Windows installed 8GB but only 3.5GB is used. I flashed the bios with the latest bios and rebooted. Everything works fine on Windows 10.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Issues

Works perfectly! Best of Internals

My 2009 Toishiba Satellite laptop with 4GB RAM ran badly for too long. I thought about dropping it. As soon as I plugged in the updated RAM sticks [please make sure you have the correct specs for your computer], my laptop started working very quickly. Yes, it's an old non-touchscreen Windows 7 computer and I like it for many reasons. The upgraded memory [should have done this a long time ago] makes the car hum. I sincerely recommend it. However, note that I purchased the "matching" memory cards

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Updates

Works perfectly! - Internals

Note: Linux Mint 19 runs on a Dell Inspirion 1545. This happened much sooner than expected, installing RAM is very simple: remove the old chips, plug and play. The computer took a few minutes longer the first time it started up after detection and update, but I've had a flawless experience ever since, extremely fast and reliable. Reliable upgrade at a good price.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Some errors

Works in my Dell m1530

Went straight into my Dell m1530 and as soon as the BIOS noticed there was a change it started working (I have the latest BIOS). I ordered this memory due to random Windows freezes and a memory check revealed an error. I haven't seen any hitches with this memory, but after a long series of memory checks, Dell reported an error. It could be a controller, but it is not yet known.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Nothing here

Falsely claims it works with Dell Latitude E6400. Another review pointed out constant crashes and I experienced that too. Tried on a clean install of Win 7, Win 10 and Kubuntu Linux. EVERYTHING kept crashing. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if it's just not compatible. All I know is that I lost $70.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
