Great pants that will expose you to perfluorochemicals

I love literally everything about these pants (the fit, the stretch panels, the pockets), other than the fact that they have a Teflon coating. I was looking for a type of pants to order a bunch of and wear on a daily basis, but these are not them, due to this reason alone.Sure, you could say it’s my fault for not reading the product description more thoroughly, but I didn’t realize this before ordering or washing the pants I got. The fabric has a slightly slick/slimy feel to it, and makes a bit

Pros
  • 5.11 Tactical Apparel
Cons
  • Teflon finish stains easily, difficult to remove stains

Comfortable pants, IF you can find your size

Once I finally found the correct size, these turned out to be good quality, comfortable and functional pants. The problem is the run ridiculously small. When buying dirt cheap Wrangler pants, I wear 34 34, and 36 34 in most others. 36x34 in this was an atomic melvin that barely buttoned at the waist. Buy at least a full size larger than you are used to.

Pros
  • Work
Cons
  • Zipper is prone to breaking

no velcro flaps - my new review

Love these new tactical pants from 5.11. My husband has several pairs, but does not like the sound of the velcro pocket flaps. I purchased these for him and he loves them! Sleek and stealth zipper pockets ROCK! They are very slimming, and could even be worn out on the town! The fabric has a little stretch and he says they are super comfortable. These don't look like your typical cargo tactical pants that he wears shooting or off-roading in the Jeep. We will have to get some more colors!

Pros
  • Can withstand repeated wash and wear without compromising quality
Cons
  • Fabric is prone to snagging or tearing easily

5.11 tactical best in my review

Christmas present for my husband & he was a happy man! He says they are the most confortable pair of pants ever & wears them almost everywhere!

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain its pristine appearance
Cons
  • Gusseted crotch design doesn't fit well under long shirts or coats

Great Pants, but. Questionable Quality

These are great work pants, but expensive They are very comfortable like an old pair of cotton sweatpants, but expensive. They look professional in the office with a polo shirt, but I can easily respond to a field situation that requires flexibility including climbing and hopping, etc. However, the fit and finish isn't up to par for the price. Loose threads all over with loose ends sticking out on almost all seams. For $100 a pair they need to clean up the quality control on those seams. That's

Pros
  • Offers a wide range of size options, accommodating most body types
Cons
  • Limited style options, not versatile in various clothing combinations

Love them! best in my review

Great pants! I'm 5'11 and 250lbs. I bought the 42×30. Comfortable, great for fishing and the pockets on the leg zip and have compartments for gun magazines which I use for my phone. Ordered 1 pair in case I don't like them but ordering more now. Stretch waiste is comfortable as well. I also have big legs and the crotch, thigh are is excellent and comfortable as well

Pros
  • A little tight but fits if not dried in the dryer. Hang dry otherwise great pants.
Cons
  • Belt loops are too narrow for most belts

My current favorite pant !

These have replaced Eddie Bauer's Guide Pro pants as my favorite pant. They are comfortable, lightweight, flexible, and durable. I love 5.11s extra pocket above/behind the rear pockets that are on many of their pants.perfect fit for my iphone 6s in a protective case. They are lightweight enough to not be too uncomfortable in the summertime in Texas (read 100+ degrees) though I prefer shorts if I can get away with it. The cargo pocket is flat and sewn on the inside and not a bulky eyesore like…

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • Inconsistent sizing and fit across different colors

Worth the money for my opinion

I’ve been buying work pants for 13 years. I always buy cheaper ones and have never really liked them. I decided to splurge and buy these 5 11’s I received them in 2 days. I put them on an they fit perfectly! These are mans pants and I’m not a man, but they look good and feel great! So great that I sat down and ordered a second pair on the spot. I can’t say about how long they will last, but I have bought boots from this company and was not disappointed. These pants are well made without being…

Pros
  • Pants
Cons
  • Limited durability and longevity

Great fit. Super comfortable. Def would buy again.

After wearing TruSpecs for the last 3 years, I broke down and purchased this pair.I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I WAS WAITING SO LONG.These things are amazing! Had to get dude sizes because EMS pants don’t believe some women have a butt but whatevs.Super comfortable. Stretchy for bending and squatting. Pockets are slim and almost invisible but are deep with an actual zipper. No Velcro. And they come PRE-HEMMED! Sayyy whaaaa?!?Shut up and take my money.

Pros
  • I find these pants great in any situation! comfortable and not too much bulge in the leg pockets
Cons
  • Limited sizes available

Exactly what I expect from 5.11

These are my second pair of 5.11. (first pair is still in action after 3 years of construction work) I've found with both pair that the magazine and edc pockets are placed in comfortable spots to keep hand tools. The fabric is flexible, breathable and durable. I'll get another pair soon.

Pros
  • Breathable material prevents overheating during intense activities
Cons
  • Button closure is difficult to fasten and unfasten
