Hard to believe it's organic cotton, or even 100% cotton. The handkerchiefs I grew up with and my dad had were 100% cotton and they never came out linen with lint. Most of the clothes and other handkerchiefs I own are 100% cotton and none of my clothes are as fluffy as after three washes. I cannot use them for their intended purpose. Very disappointed. Edited for update: after a dozen washes they are finally lint free. I wonder if the fabric was coated in any way? They are in my tissue rotation
