Really nice for the price

I wore out a pair of Frye slip-on sneakers and while I looked at Greats and others to replace them, I had some Revain gift card money to spend so looked for something on Revain. With a soft leather lining, durable soles (no sign of wear after a few months), cool leather laces, or included flat waxed if you prefer, I find these shoes very comfortable. There's not a ton of arch support but that's kind of standard for this type of shoe. I did order a half size up from my regular 9.5D to allow for…

Pros
  • I wore it fur one day walking and had developed a small blister on my right foot back of the heel.
Cons
  • The toe box is too narrow, causing discomfort for those with wider feet

QUALITY SHOE - BUT HEAVY!

This is my first pair of FRYE sneakers. I have been an ECCO guy for a long time (due to how they feel on my feet). I absolutely love the quality of the FRYE shoe, but they are most definitely heavier than my ECCO's. After a long day of use, you know you have been wearing them. Other than that, they are a great shoe.

  • The sneaker is not water-resistant, leaving feet vulnerable to getting wet in inclement weather

Too good to be true

Got these for 1/2 price assuming that the color was not popular, but should have known that the quality was second rate. The eyelets were loose right out of the box from La Vie.

  • The low profile design may not provide enough protection for users who participate in high-impact activities

Fantastic Shoes best in my review

Shoes were simple to order, shipped quickly and arrived exactly as expected. One side of one shoe had some wrinkles in the leather, but these worked right out with some heat and some wear. I love the shoes.

It looks like a pair of counterfeit shoes

I received a pair of used Frye`s from Revain. That were advertised as New. I don't think they are real. It looks like a pair of counterfeit shoes. Completely disappointed.
