This product is poorly made but my nephew loves it.

I think this product needs more quality, it's better to pay 20 follards more and have better quality. Especially for running or hiking.

Pros
  • The Trail Chaser Hiking is the perfect combination of style and function, making it the perfect gift for any active kid.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with tired or swollen feet.

NOT NEW! VERY USED!

They were by no means cheap. And he never said anything about being used, let alone VERY USED. I've never had any problems with ebay.

Pros
  • Fit / color is very good. Planning to buy another pair, hope another color is available
Cons
  • These shoes are poorly made. My child didn't even have enough for a month.

High quality but high price

I bought these shoes for my daughter a few months ago and she is rough in her shoes and we live in the country. They show almost no signs of wear.

Pros
  • Comfortable, great price, beautiful colors. I would buy another pair in a different color if I could find the same price.
Cons
  • No le duran nada en tres meses ya no sirven

Durable, sensitive footwear

The secondary color of the gray shoes appears to be blue in the online image, but in person it's more of a purple blue. While the item says unisex online, the packaging says girls.

Pros
  • Very good walking shoes! My son wears them on one of the Smoky Mountain trails and loves them! Very comfortable and well made
Cons
  • It is not breathable and can cause excessive sweating of the feet.

grandson loved it!

I ordered them for my grandson for Christmas. I got them about 1/2 size larger than requested because grandma knows how fast these kids feet grow. However, he put them on and didn't want to take them off. Hope they hold up well.

Pros
  • My mom bought me these shoes and I love them! They are super durable and comfortable. I highly recommend these shoes!.
Cons
  • These shoes were a Christmas present. There are almost no signs of wear on these shoes and the sole has just opened up.

The best children's shoes I've ever bought

I've been through a lot of shoes with three boys, but they stand up to rough play and weather better than anything else. After 1 month of use the Velcro on these shoes fell apart. Now my son hates these shoes.!

Pros
  • They have no rebound or cushioning. It's a tough walk.
Cons
  • The velcro on these shoes fell apart after 1 month of use. Now my son hates these shoes.

Comfortable and durable, good for me

I liked it for my daughter because she pays hard. These shoes have kept up with her and I'm impressed. Even walked through mud and came out clean. Two thumbs up!

Pros
  • These are great shoes. Attractive, comfortable. Highly recommended!
Cons
  • The inside of the shoe is worn, the rubber bottom showing through the insole. Very cheaply made.

True Merrell - my new review

Bought for my son. The boys wear the shoes diligently and they hold up nicely. He has ridden them many miles and they are still intact.

Pros
  • Muy bonita color me quedaron preciosos 💖 💕
Cons
  • I ordered 3W for my son, he couldn't even put them on.

Not the expected quality.

They were bought as school shoes for my grandson. After only two months of wearing, the insole was completely worn out. This also caused holes in his socks. I've always been a fan of Merrell shoes, but not this pair?

Pros
  • The shoe's quality construction means it will stand up to the rough play of active kids.
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient stability for children with balance problems

Perfect fit for my non stop 9 year old

As a parent of a 9 year old who seems to walk through a shoe before outgrowing it has been awesome. I've always looked to Merrell as a trusted brand, and the kids' versions are no different. Great fit, great stability, great buy

Pros
  • The upper is made of synthetic leather and mesh for breathability and durability.
Cons
  • May chafe ankle and cause irritation

Poor quality in my opinion

They fall apart after a month of use! Of course, this is only after the return of the window ... very disappointed. Now I'm stuck trying to re-glue the soles.

Pros
  • We bought a pair for hiking last year and they are still holding up, although the top is badly scratched.
Cons
  • The sole is coming off and ebay won't replace it even though I just bought it because of the "window".

LARGE size and TRANSPARENT material used

EDIT - These shoes have not even been worn for 6 months! The velcro at the top has ripped off which is why they look so dirty and ugly. I have changed my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. VERY expensive for a 6 month old or younger. My son has wide feet and finding shoes for him is ALWAYS HARD! Sometimes wide shoes don't suit him! Glad these fit! Difficult to find as we only look for pure materials. These are nice, clean and wide. Thanks Merrell for making them! Just bought it, so can't say much…

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Some small items

Overall good shoes, poor insole quality

This is a great shoe that fits well overall. The only complaint I have had with two pairs for my son is that the insole wears out very quickly. The fabric and lining wear out completely in the heel area, exposing the heel. I've bought at least a dozen Merrills over the years and have never had an experience like this. I've never had children's performances that have worn out inside in 2-3 months if there was still a significant amount of time outside. This problem can be partially solved by…

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Sturdy great stylish

Bought these blue/grey/green size 10 for young children and they fit well. Lasts longer than his foot was that size when my son was 3 1/2 years old. Now he is 5 years old, he is incredibly active and starts to run 5 km. However, they are very durable, supportive and excellent. We now have a size 12 and a third pair of Merrell's Only because it keeps growing! I don't see the signs of daily "wear and tear" that I've seen with less durable shoes that show scuffs if you look at them for too long…

Pros
  • Open
