Whether hidden or highlighted as decorative stitching, SILK-FINISH COTTON 40 works perfectly when used for machine or hand quilting. Cotton 40 is mercerized for high breaking and shrinkage resistance as well as giving it that Mettler quality silk finish for smooth and soft machine or hand quilting. Manufacturer recommends needle size 80-90. 100% Cotton.

Beautiful Caramel Shade Thread

Using this thread our arts and crafts team found that it added a gorgeous touch to our scrapbooking and stamping projects .The silky finish was easy to work with and didn't snag or break. The caramel shade was versatile and added warmth to our creations. The only downside was that it was slightly more expensive than other thread brands we've tried..

The Best Thread

After trying Mettler thread I find it difficult to use other brands. Their cotton threads definitely feel silky and glide beautifully across your machine creating strong stitches.
