It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

Pros below: A solid camera, you can’t even believe that it has only 0.7 megapixels! My old Logitech Shfere with 1.3 megapixels was easily plugged into my belt! Even the digital zoom works very, very well. Got cons: Pretty basic special effects. In the new versions of Skype, calls in HD quality were blocked for non-certified cameras. This one doesn't appear to be certified.

After 2 months of use, I can say that I am pleased with my purchase; for the price, the camera's quality more than meets my expectations. There are no major nuances; rather, it all comes down to the finer points. At the cost of fastening, perhaps someone doesn't like such a bending fastening, but I found only benefits in this, since it can be attached to nearly anything with this fastening. Unfortunately, Skype also does not plan to accredit any cameras made by third parties. If you want HD…

Pros
  • What a fantastic camera, and I love the way it looks! Aluminum construction, outstanding glass optics, fantastic auto-focus, 360-degree rotation, and, of course, HD; cylindrical design as opposed to the more common ball shape.
Cons
  • What a fantastic camera, and I love the way it looks! Aluminum construction, good glass optics, excellent auto-focus, 360-degree rotation, and, of course, HD; the camera is cylindrical rather than round like most others.

I am not disappointed, the quality is satisfying.

There is such a camera at work for Skype conferences. The picture is not bad, the sound does not collect a lot of noise, but, of course, they cannot be completely removed. Since the use is not home, I can’t say for sure what are the installation problems and the use of effects in various applications. Used in Skype for Business

Pros
  • Convenient fastening, not a bad picture
Cons
  • Didn't find it due to infrequent use

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

No wow! compared to a conventional built-in camera in a laptop. The built-in iPad (face) camera is inferior. Formally, HD resolution gives out, but the whole picture is "noisy" under normal apartment and office lighting. What I would like but don't: - there is no automatic color temperature correction for incandescent lamps, your face will be yellow, but this applies to all classmates and can be cured manually in the settings. - no optical zoom, at least three times. Conclusions - an…

Pros
  • Awesome packaging, apparently half of the development budget was given to this.
Cons
  • on one laptop (Win 7/64) could not deliver. On the second (XP 32) got up. The lens diameter is microscopic, it collects little light. and the disadvantages listed below.

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

The camera is interesting as the first affordable HD model. It is clear that matrices and chips for processing FullHD video have appeared on the market, and soon there will be more cameras in this resolution . To this, in other matters, as well as to all webcams, the rule "the resolution declared by marketers must be divided by 2" must be applied. It turns out 640x360, the camera gives this resolution quite clearly. The optics are not bad, but no more. Liked the design and fit. Clearly…

Pros
  • Price/matrix resolution. Interesting video effects in real time.
Cons
  • All resolutions from 160x120 to 1280x720 work through the demo program. Much less is available in applications, and there are problems with 4:3 16:9 aspect ratio, pictures and quality, obviously Microsoft did not comply with their own VFW (VideoForWindows) standard. As a result, it is necessary to check applications for compatibility with this device. Another drawback is the driver, a program is installed that downloads the rest of the driver via the Internet, and the program does not understand the necessary direct connection to the Internet. It downloads a lot of about 40 megabytes.

Bad! I am not satisfied with the quality of the product.

The manufacturer just scored on his product. Starting with win8, the drivers are simply not ated. Yes, of course, in any version of windows the camera is recognized, but the quality of camera control is almost zero. White balance is simply impossible to align! In artificial light, all faces are dark yellow, and in daylight they are blue-red. The intermediate option could not be caught. Phtopka!

Pros
  • Easily attaches to monitor

Nice price, good quality.

Installed on Win10 with no problems. Autofocus periodically tries to adjust, in the first hour of operation almost once a minute. Now much less often, maybe getting used to it)). For me, the field of view is wide. There are no regular means to "crop" the video stream. Installed OBS - there and cut off the excess. Took for video conferencing from home. Copes with this task. The microphone is good, it doesn't pick up too much, you don't need to raise your voice either.

Pros
  • The quality of the materials, the length of the USB cable, the quality of the video. Good microphone.
Cons
  • Autofocus periodically "jumps" even during conferences.

Great value for money

I bought this webcam because the built in camera was very poor for my windows laptop. I just wanted a high quality camera for video chatting or casual video recording. This camera is very cool. As others have said, the camera looks pretty big in the product image, but it's smaller than it looks. The first thing I want to mention is the physical device. None of the parts feel cheap, the body is metal, the foot is rubber, the cord isn't very good but better than most. The foot flexes easily and…

Pros
  • TrueColor technology with face tracking for bright and colorful videos
Cons
  • High price

LifeCam Cinema = Slam Dunk **Resource Heavy**

THIS IS MY first Microsoft webcam based on the long history of Logitech cameras. My last camera was a 2MP Logitech C905/QuickCam Pro handheld webcam for laptops and before that a Quickcam 4000. I also had an archaic Logitech camera in the late 90's but they were ALL crap back then. It's VERY obvious that Microsoft had good people working on it. The camera is much smaller than I expected. Viewed from above, the cylindrical body is only a hair more than a quarter in diameter. It's just over two…

Pros
  • Certified for Skype
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Good price for computer accessories and peripherals

I have a problem installing the software. I don't like installing software unless it's necessary and often use a spare computer for testing. This camera came with a notice that I had to install the software BEFORE connecting the camera for the first time. I did this on my spare computer and it worked fine. First I connected the camera to my main computer. The camera works fine without software, but the software that comes with it is good, so I tried installing it. It wouldn't let me and told me

Pros
  • Precise glass lens for clear images
Cons
  • No insurance
