Battery MAINTAINER (not charger)

This is not a dead charger. Read below to understand why. This charger waits for voltage to be present at the terminals before attempting to charge. This means that if the battery is really dead, the charger will think it is not connected to anything and will not output any voltage. The charger delivers about 13.8 volts. It warms a little. It has screw holes to mount it to the wall (I think) which is a great idea in the garage.

Great range of tools and equipment

Used this thing for 6 months. I have 3 escorts, it's a bit expensive but the quality is a step above and it's worth it. Long cable length on both 110V and DC side. I used it on my Yamaha V-Star over the summer. This winter it was on one of my classic cars. I just went to the start, classic and perfect! The battery was dead after last winter. I bought additional ring shaped pigtails and installed them permanently on my cars and bike. It is very convenient to reconnect "buried" and removed (under

Inexpensive insurance for every start.

This is the perfect combo for my electric start motocross bike and jeep. It comes with two separate attachments that allow me to leave one plugged directly into my FC450 battery and the other so I can use it with other batteries. In the off-season, my bike's battery is usually dead if I don't ride it often. So after using one of these on my R6, this one keeps my bike's battery dialed in so it starts every time. I also like that it has a "jumper cable" option so I can use it on my Jeep at night…

It works as advertised.

I like this charger for what it is. Small and serves its purpose. But I wish these things had a "dumb" switch that would turn them into a dumb charger. Smart chargers are good for fast unattended charging and long-term storage, but when all you need is stable power, they can't deliver it. I needed to fully charge a new 14Ah motorcycle battery. New lead-acid batteries need to be "fully" charged if you want them to last as long as possible. According to the areometer, it took several days for the

2 out of 2 failures after 2-3 months

The bad: After 3 months of use in my mobile home I noticed that the battery was dead despite the charger being built in and connected. I wrote to the seller and he asked me to take photos to show that when plugged in, he no longer turns on the indicator light. Then they sent me another one. After 2 months of use the new charger also stopped glowing and the battery dropped back down to 8 volts before I realized it. Maybe I was unlucky, but 2 failures were enough for me. Others seem to have…

Works great for chargers

I had no problems with this at all. I use this for my boat batteries and it works like a champ. The trickle charge works great and the batteries stay conditioned. I leave it on 24/7 when I'm not on the water. Since I have three different battery types, I occasionally switch from battery to battery, but it works for all of them. Recently the lawn mower wouldn't start. I put it on my lawn mower and the next day the battery was like new. It's lightweight and very easy to move and use. It's outside

Also recommended for chargers

This charger works great. You can attach the connector to the battery and leave it hanging with the protective cap. Then simply remove the cover and connect the charger. You can charge it to green and unplug it, or leave it for a few rainy days. It's small enough and has mounting brackets so you can mount it to almost anything near your parking spot. I have nothing bad to say but I can say all the good things about this cheap and efficient battery tender. 11 months later. I've been using this…
