Fantastic product, totally worth the money if you have a large installation or like me limited roof space (RV) and need to suck everything out of your modules to the last watt while You carefully monitor every little thing (especially if you also whistle).

Very happy with the charger. Robust metal housing, attractive in appearance. I first used it with a 12v inverter, now I use it with 48v and both worked like clockwork. I've been without power for 88 days and that's due to Hurricane Maria, but with my little solar system and Rick we're succeeding.

I love the art on the Midnight Classic chassis. This is a top notch charge controller that will extend the life of your batteries if you follow the instructions and keep the batteries charged. I highly recommend this charge controller. I have a 12 volt PV system that I might want to combine with wind. I'll probably buy another one of these for the wind. Excellent!

I'm hesitant to give 5 stars because this thing only worked for a few weeks. So far, so good. This is the third solar controller I have had in this system but the first Midnite solar controller. This product is very easy to install. I left everything at factory programming. There may be other things I can do to get the maximum and I'm sure the answers are on the CD that came with it. I'm still under construction for my house and don't have time. Even when it's floating or full and I load it, it makes the best of everything it can get from my panels. In full sun the float just gets a trickle, then I add a load and I've seen it draw 200-1000 watts based on that load to keep the batteries

Compare all the big companies and "Midnight Solar" doesn't just sell the most powerful 48-72 volt charge controller. Fi capable charge controller. It logs all data for 4 consecutive months, incredibly efficient. Has all the security features on the market including multiple unique chipsets. I love this controller because when paired with the Whiz Bang Jr it accurately charges batteries using power boosters and still handles loads! Haven't seen this option anywhere. My main concerns are that the firmware, software and mobile app are so broken and badly coded by obvious amateurs that you will be fed up with what you paid for it and completely question the legitimacy of the company.
