Mighty Paw Dog Seat Belt Review

The cord wraps around my dog's leg and gets very tight. I'm scared to death of what will happen if I hit the brakes hard. I don't use it and never will again. I went back to my leash with a nylon car buckle.

The Mighty Paw Dog Chew Harness is a fantastic product to keep your pet safe! It kept my 60 lb bulldog from jumping in the car and my son in his car seat while driving and she was calm and just sat up nicely while tied to him in the back seat. I will buy a second one for my Springer and put it in the trunk of my Yukon. Love it!

Looks like a great product but I think I'll have to trade mine for a larger size. After digging around in the back seats of my 2008 RAV4, I finally found that the hook I had to use was quite far back and the rest of the tether was too short to be practical (see removed for comparison). If my bars were in the same place as in the pictures I would be fine in length, but because they ended up further down and behind the seat I lost half my length walking across the seat.

My two dogs have chewed through every nylon harness and harness I've tried on them. I like that it swivels and is very secure as it uses a locking system instead of a seat belt clip. These cables are great! I bought 2 different lengths (60cm and 80cm) to make sure they fit perfectly. We were traveling cross country and had to take our dog on a 3 day road trip.
