Mmm hardly for air tool parts and accessories

Looks good. However, not the US. Note that V-couplings are barely compatible with the M-style (not just Milton). If your M style is out of specification; they may leak or pop out. Most tools come with a loose M connector and I was hoping not to change them all, but you'll probably find some problems. Never had a V to V problem.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Empty

When you disconnect the air keeps coming in and not closing like it should

I've bought 6 of these quick disconnects in the last year and 2 of them have already failed. When switched off, the air continues to flow and does not switch off as it should. This means I left the air hoses connected under pressure, which is not recommended by the hose manufacturer.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I love Milton High Flow faucets.

I have replaced all of my original hose fittings with Milton High Flow. Obviously the stock 1/4" brass fittings on my air compressor had to be replaced to stay compatible. They work great, the collar is always pulled back slightly so when you insert the plug with one hand the collar pops out and the plug is caught. No air leakage Well made and runs smoothly.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Protection

Smooth quick connect mechanism

fittings are very easy to insert and work great in my system. My only complaint is that the male NTP fittings seem to be a bit too small as I had to wrap a few more layers of teflon tape around them and then they still almost abutted against the female fittings they screwed into, my compressor and another store. lines. There are no leaks so this is a small complaint.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Something else

Easy installation with no leaks

Replaced my original industrial coupler on my Fortress air compressor with a heavy duty V-type. I didn't want to buy a separate 1/4" NPT nipple, so I bought this type with an already machined 1/4" NPT stub. No leaks thanks to Teflon tape and air fittings that snap and release with one hand when the sleeve is pulled back. I wish it was built in the US and not Taiwan to support mfg overseas but despite that fact the Milton went against the competition.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • boring packaging

Will not close after tool removal

I have my second and final set of these quick disconnects. The female end will not close when you disconnect the air tool and depressurize the air line until you turn off the compressor or regulator. Because of this, I added ball valves to my air lines to shut off the air supply. I understand that after a period of heavy use, air fittings fail to hold air. They didn't last as long as my last set (different brand, no longer in production) which was 4 years old. The current plug has only been in…

These high fill factor V connectors are great!

I have switched to Hi-Flo Type V fittings for my HVLP impact tools and spray guns. The really great thing about these V jacks is that my other "standard" industrial connectors can be used with no leaks. I borrowed a pneumatic scaling tool from a neighbor who had an "auto repair shop" fitting and hooked it up to these Milton V style women with no leaks either! I figured I might need a box full of adapter plugs, but Hi-Flo Type V plugs will work with any plug I can find.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • I have a few quirks

Doesn't turn off the air supply after minor use.

As other reviewers have reported, the airflow doesn't shut off after about a year of light use. When I first discovered these V-style fittings I thought they would be great as they work with both M-style (default) and V-style fittings. I could keep the M style on my nail guns and this fitting would fit both but I bought 4-5 of these hose fittings and my compressor and most if not all have failed and will not shut off the airflow now. and I'm replacing everything back to the M style (what a…

Works well for HVLP ONLY!

This is a high quality adaptation. However, they ONLY work well with HVLP fittings! They are advertised to work with regular size fittings and larger diameter HVLP fittings. When used with a high flow fitting they will work but inserting the fitting/tool into them is quite difficult. They close with a click and open beautifully with HVLP fittings. However, they will NOT work with smaller air fittings V or M. I've been using them every day for months. Initially, they worked with all fittings, as
