Great product, best for fish and aquatic animals

Great product, performance is fantastic. Pros: Excellent wave generator, quiet, powerful, very strong fastening magnet. Cons: I wish the shaft generator cycle could be adjusted

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Running nonstop so far

Would you like your new surge pump to hit the market having been told it would be available within 6 months? It's great, and while I wish there was more flow, it circulates well thanks to the multi-speed design. You have an old Polario that has been running and quiet for YEARS with no problems. The design prevents clogging which is fantastic. This little guy seems to be doing the same. A++++

Good pump if you like police sirens

This pump works pretty well and the wave action was good. However, as another reviewer mentioned, there is a fairly loud, high-pitched squeak when the pumps accelerate. I'm in another room as I write this and I can still hear it. If it were constant it might turn into white noise, but not after a few days. If you like the sound of police sirens this pump is great but it annoys me. Will return.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Something different

Not enough power but works as described.

product exactly as described. Love the action and watch the corals swing through. A bit disappointed with the amount of water movement as it seems a little underpowered for my 75 gallon aquarium. Will definitely consider buying another one but will move on to the next step. I'll probably end up using this one for my 50 gallons. Minimal noise issues, I hear a faint weeping when the engine is revving up. Overall a good product and works exactly as described.

Works great, but the security holes are too big.

Very happy with this head, double motion works great. I've experimented with a few different locations, this is an unusual configuration compared to the usual, and I've found it works best on a rear glass panel behind some sort of rock. I can't believe this just happened! While writing this review my green bull, my favorite fish, just got sucked into this pump and died! Right in front of my eyes! The pump was there for about three months, now I'm very sad. Absolutely unbelievable!

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

My replacement VorTech

No, this pump will not pump water like my VorTech BUT imagine the bearings on the dry side of my VorTech failed after the warranty expired. I'm not a DIYer, so I bought a new dry side. Presumably the controller failed after the new dry side was installed! Not wanting to give more of my hard earned money to EcoTech I took a chance and bought this pump and I love it. It's very small and yes it has a turbo, but it's not too bad. I have a feeling that with care this pump will outlive my dead…

Mini Polario low voltage water pump 10ml

I've had this pump for 4 days now. This is a nice little SILENT pump. Yes, I hear a very LIGHT buzz as the water moves faster in different directions every 5 seconds, just like the product description says. As for the reviews stating the pump makes an awful noise at full speed - yes it happens when the pump is TOO close to the top of the tank. This little pump moves a lot of water when it revs up and if placed too close to the waterline it will suck air into the pump making a very unpleasant…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I won't say anything
