This is what you need if you are trying to use new USB keyboards, mice, trackballs etc with a KVM use that only supports PS/2 connections. . When I boot up my computer, it doesn't recognize my keyboard or mouse. I use a Kensington optical trackball and a simple USB keyboard with no ten keys.
