What I paid for I really like this camera

What I paid for I really like this camera. I need a DSLR but can't afford one right now, so I went with this bridge camera instead. I'm glad I did. It was a spontaneous decision that I don't regret. I wish this camera had a different remote shutter release than the app and I would like to set the timer to always be set to 2 seconds instead of changing it for each shot. I shoot small subjects in a lightbox, so I need a very stable camera for each shot.

Pros
  • even the old ones can understand
Cons
  • Compatibility

Wireless Internet access? No for digital cameras

I bought this camera specifically because I was looking for a camera that would connect to Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth. The feature is there, but you need to download an application called Link123 Plus to your phone. which is useless. It's not compatible with newer Android phones, and by "newer" I mean it hasn't been updated in over a year. The app website is no more and there is no help. Minolta needs to develop an app that actually makes this feature work or stop marketing the camera with this…

Shooting at 72 dpi with digital cameras

Bought for nature photography in the garden. doing a good job What they don't state in the specs is that it only records at 72dpi. So you can't crop and zoom in. I find that the best shots are taken in the "P" position. I adjust EV for better lighting. I mostly use the maximum zoom. The anti-vibrator does its job very well. The battery life is excellent. Does not come with a charger. You need to use the cable and charger inside the camera. Transferring photos over WiFi is cumbersome, you have…

Good camera, but watch out for the battery.

Without the battery, this camera would have received 4.5 stars. I've noticed that other buyers have left feedback about issues with the entry fee and intake. When charging for the first time, the camera showed "charging abnormally". Finally, the battery was charged overnight and the camera turned on. When removing the battery, however, it was noticeable that the battery housing was warped and swollen. Not good for any battery, but worse for a lithium-ion battery. The battery supplier has…

After 1000 shots I am satisfied.

First of all, I'm not a professional photographer and I can't justify spending thousands of dollars on a camera. In six months I created a spreadsheet of specs for nearly 60 different cameras. I knew Nikon was going to release their P1000 camera and I was looking forward to it. But at almost $1,000, I had a hard time justifying it. So I decided on the Minolta MN35Z. It replaces my 2009 Canon SX20IS. I have just returned from a Mediterranean cruise where I visited the Vatican Museums and St…
