Get it before you need it!

Quality item. I've seen guys get stuck in 4 lows with those pesky plastic bushings. Keep a few in the glove compartment and save yourself the headache!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Better than OEM for parts

They fit great and are made of a more flexible material so they won't brittle or break like the factory parts. So far I've only used one of the four I bought.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • boring packaging

Every Jeep should have a pair

My 4WD broke as soon as I pulled off the track. Luckily I was already on 2wd. A little YouTube and Google research revealed that the bushings were probably bad. Replaced the transfer case bushing and shift knob and these parts worked better than the originals.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Null

Jeep JK Transfer Case Wire Grommet

Quality will only tell with time. Clear plastic versus the opaque white plastic they usually are. The price is high for what it is and the size but comparable to most sellers. Comes in a 2-pack so you can replace both or one that's broken and have a spare in case of a transit disruption.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Fits and works on 2010 Jeep

Fits snugly on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2 door on both ends of the shift cable. Only been installed a few days so not sure about durability but I've changed all positions a couple of times with no problems. Consider buying another pack to always have on hand!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Almost never

Time/$ saved with Theft Prevention = PRICELESS!

Installation was literally instant (pun intended). I recently purchased a used 2009 Jeep Rubicon JKU. When I tried to shift it to 4WD, the gear selector was loose and would not engage. I'm not mechanically inclined so I planned on taking it to a Jeep dealership to have it fixed. A quick google search revealed that transfer case arm bushings are notorious for breaking and this seemed like a relatively easy and inexpensive fix. It turned out that both grommets were missing, leaving the cable…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
