Fed-Ex took a long time to get these colors on here but when I got them I was thrilled. I was doing a color chart and accidentally got a small amount of color on my finger. I went to the sink to wash it off and as soon as the water hit it the pigment exploded! The whole sink was covered in paint! (It's NON-TOXIC or I wouldn't have used the disposal basin.) I recently purchased the Mission Gold Pure Pigments Set and wanted to complement some of the colors I thought I might need. With the addition of this set I got 22 different colors which costs $3.84 for a tube of new colors and 12 double colors thrown in for free :). I bought these colors in January so I had several tubes to make a travel palette out of. them on the palette and use them! They are so bright, smooth and intense that it was ridiculous compared to my old cotton set that I gave to a friend who was just starting to paint with watercolors. I have also bought other brands to fill in the colors over the last 2 years such as M. The Asian set has neither white nor black, which I prefer. These colors are the most vibrant watercolors I've ever used (I usually use D Smith, M Graham, or Holbein for reference). These watercolors dwarfed my Winsor and Newton artist pans in brightness. I love how bright and easy these colors flow. As other reviews have pointed out, earth tones differ slightly from their more traditional counterparts. I will continue to use Graham's Burnt Umber M, Burnt Sienna and Winsor and Newton's Yellow Ocher. Another fall color is azure.
