The Reloader's Dream: Digital Calipers

If you're tired of buying those $15 or $30 calipers, stop. I just finished resizing a hundred rounds from .223. I only had to reset it once because I accidentally pressed the ABS button. With cheaper calipers, I had to constantly reset to zero. If I want my body length to be 1.756 inches, I want 1.756, not 1.756, 1.749, 1.78. I know it was money spent. Made in Japan, not China. As soon as you take them, you will feel the quality. If you like accurate bullets, this is a good place to startโ€ฆ

Mitutoyo confirms that the "ORIGIN " button is no longer recessed on the 500 series calipers

I had some concerns about the fakes I ordered from Revain. First off, mine are the real McCoy. I had an issue with mine, based on the fake checklist provided, the ORIGIN button wasn't recessed but passed all other checks. So I emailed Mitutoyo directly some pictures of the calipers and the documentation. Response was very quick and they confirmed that they made changes to the 500 series calipers and the ORIGIN knob is no longer recessed. The wording specifically stated that the change affectedโ€ฆ

Prior to my review of the performance and accuracy of the Mitutoyo caliper I wanted to share some important things to look out for to ensure you are getting a genuine Mitutoyo caliper and not fake calipers made in China (a good price is usually between $100-$125) Now that I am said the one I bought from Revain was listed for $95.02 (that was the best price I found online and according to information on the web they are legal to the best of my knowledge). ) Here are the main things I found onโ€ฆ
