Terrible! Nightmare!

WARNING! DO NOT buy for young guinea pigs! Our guinea pig got his paw stuck in a back hole that was slightly larger than the other holes. Panicking trying to pull his leg out, he broke his leg in two places. We had to take him many miles out of state (during the pandemic) for emergency surgery, which cost us almost $3,000 for 6 weeks plus follow-up visits per week at several hundred dollars per visit! We're nearing $4,000 in vet bills! I would sue the manufacturer if I could!

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I am very happy with this product

I don't know how to potty a guinea pig but I have found that my piglets mostly use a corner for pooping and urinating. I bought this and put in the angle they used most of the time, can't say it's 100% effective. I still have scattered granules in the cage but they use that to urinate and that has a lot of granules too. I empty it every other day, wash and dry it before putting it back. I am very satisfied with this product. Mkono Potty Trainer Corner Litter Box for Hamster Guinea Pig Ferret…

I just love it. I hesitated to buy this product.

I love it. At first I was hesitant to purchase this product because I didn't think we could potty train guinea pigs. BUT to my great surprise, this product actually works. All I did (based on previous reviews) was put some hay on top of the pot and put some dirty laundry in the bin below. My guinea pig now just sits here and eats, poops and sometimes sleeps here too :P leaving the rest of her cage clear of debris. The great thing is that the droppings are collected in the bottom bin, so the…

Perfect size! suitable for small animals

Contrary to some reviews, I really like this potty trainer. I bought this potty knowing my guinea pigs wouldn't use it. However, I knew it would be perfect for holding hay and catching some of their toilet business. Guinea pigs love doing things in corners and while eating. I actually had to clean it because it had some bathroom issues. I just put some hay in mine and drop some of their poop in there and I see them sitting on it and eating hay (very little to attract them otherwise they eat…

Great potty for rats! for bedding and padding

Unbelievable! If I hadn't seen and done this, I would have never believed it was possible to potty a rat or other rodent. I raised a hairless baby rat that I found in my garage. He is a healthy young man with a cell of a nation of creatures. They are above the top cells. I didn't like that it was mainly spoiled with urine and its smell no matter how faint if you brush every day. Put that in and some rodent litter, and voila! Ben (the rat) went straight to him and examined him. He reached…

Potty training simulator in development.

PROS: - Durable plastic - Great color variation - Easy to clean - Bars don't hurt the guinea pig CONS: - Guinea pig doesn't use it all the time - Side hooks won't attach to the corner of the guinea pig cage - Difficult to train when the potty is up. At first I was worried that my guinea pig would be too big for potty training, but I was wrong. It definitely fits a guinea pig (mine is about 7 months old) and she won't even get close. To get her used to the potty, I put it under her hay rack so…
